Thanks a lot to @SafetyCampusVRT that has hosted the second integration meeting and kept us save even in the stifling heat we had those days.
@AIOSAT_eu keeps on evolving and this time the second integration day has been really successful. This meeting provide us the opportunity to gather information from all the systems involved in AIOSAT:
- GNSS
- UWB
- IMU
- Fusion algorithm
- Communications
Several small trials have been carried out to gather relevant information, taking advantage of the facilities at @SafetyCampusVRT.
Also the collaboration of firefighters have been really important to understand their movement patterns they do when operating under harsh conditions of visibility in order to ensure a safe operation.
Additionally, thanks to the information gathered during these days the first data fusion test with real data have been applied and results are really promising.
We are on the right path! 😉
